We all have a story, but more importantly, we are all the authors of our own lives. Everyday presents a new page, a new story and potential for a new happily ever after. Be highly intentional with your life and write YOUR best story. I believe YOGA can have a profound impact on writing our best story and living a life of deep significance.

This month, we invite you to let Live True Yoga be a part of your story. We have many wonderful events coming up, many of which are focusing on our youth (ages 3-18 years of age) as well as a special gift to ALL the DAD's out there. From SATURDAY, JUNE 11th through SUNDAY JUNE 19th ALL Live True Yoga, Barre, and Pilates classes are FREE to DADS! No need to sign up ahead of time, just come with your spouse and/or significant other! Maybe even make it a date night! Our doors are ALWAYS open to EVERYONE.

Spring into HEALTH and HAPPINESS this APRIL. I hope your March vacations or staycations were fabulous. We are happy to have you back.

This month, we continue to celebrate Spring and all the beauty it brings. I love the '12 Ways to Live a Happier Life' and I believe many of us could use this gentle reminder. Place it on your fridge or bathroom mirror, so you don't forget. It is essential to our health and well-being. I am especially fond of #12. :)

Welcome Spring!

This picture brought a huge smile to my face, so I had to share. We welcome Spring Equinox this year on March 20th, when day and night are equal in both hemispheres. All of nature is beginning to stir, showing signs of growth after the Winter sleep. Buds on the trees are beginning to show, Spring flowers are anxious to come out, and seeds are germinating. The power of the sun is increasing, the days are becoming longer and the nights shorter. Spring welcomes change and renewal, creating a time to cleanse ourselves of hibernating winter habits and empower us to find inspiration in the beautiful nature around us.

This month, we are celebrating our ever evolving studio. To celebrate Spring, we will be hosting our first Gentle 108 Sun Salutation Candlelight class on March 23rd at 7:00 pm (see
details below). We have also added early morning and lunch

Hello January!

It's that time of year again...the holidays have come to a close and I am craving some normalcy. It's time to re-establish routines.

Don't get me wrong, I love the holidays, but they can also be exhausting, stressful and overwhelming. This momma needs some YOGA and some ME time!

This year I vow to bring more focus into my daily each day with intention and purpose, keeping my health and well-being front and center. Difficult challenge? I'd say YES!

Here are a few daily goals I have set to help me accomplish this... 1) Practice Yoga at Least 15 Minutes a Day: It can be the physical
practice or seated meditation. This brings so much clarity and focus

Happy November! This month, I challenge you to express more gratitude. Before you even get out of bed, start your day off right by reminding yourself of just a few things you are grateful for. Maybe it is for the health of your children, or the warm house you live in, or the food you are able to put on the table....whatever it is, let this idea of gratitude be the first thoughts that pop into your head. This is a very simple, yet powerful task. I challenge you to take it.

I will leave you with this.

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life.
It turns what we have into enough and more.
It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity.
It can turn a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.

Happy Fall...a wonderful time for transformation and change.

Recently I have been asked quite frequently, why do people do yoga? is my answer. Doing yoga brings many concrete benefits: it is a powerful therapeutic tool for correcting physical and psychological problems; it can slow down aging; it gives strength and flexibility for other physical activities; it can enhance your posture, skin, muscle tone, and vitality. Most importantly, it can give your life a sense of grace and overall well-being.

Summer is finally here! We are thrilled to announce so many great yoga events to kick off summer and continue the celebration throughout the next few months! We are excited to announce the addition of TRUE Barre to the schedule with Dianne Lapum! The barres are up and we are ready for YOU!

As we gear up for summer and approach 4 months since we opened our doors, we wanted to take a moment to say Thanks! Thank you for supporting our locally owned studio.

Since we began creating our business plan, it has always been our intent to create a community that supports each students path toward health and well being. We want to empower you to find focus, balance, and connection with the mind, body and spirit through yoga practice. Our goal is to offer a variety of classes and instructors that will help support you on this journey. We couldn't do it without your support and we want you to know how incredibly grateful we are.

The end of winter brings about so many rituals. We turn down the heat, open the windows and breathe in the scents of warm rain, budding tulips, and green grass. We fold up our wool sweaters and tuck them away, creating room for lighter knit clothing and bright colors. We dust, scrub, and organize all the clutter we collected over the winter months to make room for the freshness of spring.

There is no denying that a good spring cleaning can create calm and harmony within the home, but why not bring those vibes into the mind, body, and soul? Dedicating time for ourselves on our mats, practicing yoga and mindfulness is one of the many ways we can find fulfillment, harmony, and growth in our lives.
