Live True Yoga Workshops and Events

This is a great class to recharge the body and calm the nervous system in preparation for the week ahead. The first part of practice will emphasize a gentle flow yoga, warming up the body. The last half of practice will be geared toward a restorative practice, where props will be used to support longer pose holds, inviting the body to relax and release tension stored in the physical, emotional and energetic bodies (all levels welcome).
Link between breath and movement through sun salutations and postures. Increases strength , endurance, flexibility, and balance. Vinyasa is best if you are physically active, comfortable with basic poses, and appreciate a healthy sweat. This is a 75 minute class with an extended Savasana. 
Fusing power yoga and plyometrics into a high-intensity workout that transforms the body from the inside out, Buti Yoga is powerful version of a vinyasa flow that feels like intuition from your core. All levels welcome!
A slower pace and simple yoga breathing exercises make this class a great place to learn basic poses and become comfortable on the mat. This practice brings balance and ultimately, overall health and well-being back to the consistent practitioner.
A peaceful and restorative class for all levels. This class focuses on breathing, meditation, and learning proper alignment for basic yoga postures. The class incorporates Christian music and will open and close with scripture.
This powerful and effective flow fusion class is a hybrid of yoga and core strengthening moves. Our core is our center physically, emotionally, and mentally. Planks and all kinds of ab and spine strengthening moves will stimulate the energy in your navel center. Focus is on deep abdominal work along with upper and lower body strengthening and lengthening.

As the holiday season approaches, feelings of gratitude warm our hearts and encourage us to give help to those in need. Live True Yoga invites you to give back to the community by joining us on a morning of wellness. All donations will go to the Hanover Food Shelf and can include non-perishable food items such as canned goods, peanut butter, jelly, cereal and pasta. Cash donations are welcome too. Treat yourself to a rejuvenating yoga class led by Nicole Christianson.  
Restorative Yoga is a quiet, meditative practice that increases flexibility and strength in the joints, builds stamina, and stills the mind. Long held poses are mostly practiced seated or lying on the floor in stillness for 30 seconds to three minutes, allowing the connective tissues in the body to gently release (All levels welcome).
If you are wanting to improve your core strength, balance, flexibility, agility and motor control in a fun yet challenging workout, Pure Barre is the class for you. Designed to tone and define those long lean lines you have always wanted with small, precise isolated movements and low impact. Beginning with a dynamic warm up followed by upper body sculpting, toning of thighs and lifting of the seat(at the barre), flattening of the abs and cool down and stretching to finish. No dance experience necessary and all age appropriate.
Live True Yoga's Barre class utilizes targeted isometric movements to tone and engage muscle groups one at a time. Each class is full of fun, energetic music and the instructors at Live True Yoga aim to create an encouraging and empowering environment.

This fusion class combines the muscle sculpting benefits of Pilates with a variety of yoga postures designed to build greater flexibility. Target specific muscle groups while enjoying a deep stretch.
